Write for Us

Share your celebration with thousands of readers.

NationalDaysGuide is always looking for contributors who love holidays, traditions, and celebrations across the USA and UK. If you can write an engaging, well-researched guide, we’d love to hear from you.

What we’re looking for

  • Holiday & event guides — in-depth guides to national days, federal/bank holidays, and festivals (USA, UK, or both).
  • Celebration ideas — how to celebrate: traditions, activities, party ideas, recipes.
  • Gift guides, wishes & quotes — curated ideas and messages for specific occasions.
  • Comparisons & explainers — e.g. how the same day is celebrated differently in the USA vs the UK.

Guidelines

  • Original only. Your article must be 100% original and never published elsewhere. We check.
  • Length: at least 1,200 words for guides; quality matters more than word count.
  • Accuracy first. Dates, histories, and facts must be verified from reputable sources. Include your sources. Never invent statistics, quotes, or traditions.
  • Reader-friendly. Clear headings, short paragraphs, practical takeaways. Write for real people, not search engines.
  • No AI spam. We welcome AI as a research assistant, but submissions must be genuinely written, edited, and fact-checked by a human.
  • Both countries, clearly labeled. If your topic touches both the USA and UK, make clear which details apply where.

What you get

  • Full author credit with your name and a short bio.
  • A link to your website or social profile in your bio.
  • Promotion of your article to our readers and newsletter subscribers.
